Webpearl Design offers web design training with a difference.

We firmly believe that people learn most effectively by doing. By showing you how to update your site, and then coaching you through the process we make sure that you will remember how to do it the next time.

In order to achieve our goal of providing you with the best training possible, we only encourage small groups, to a maximum of 5 people, enabling us to give individual assistance and advice.

We don't use Internet jargon. Web design terms are simplified to enable the trainee to understand the training rather than struggle to understand the jargon.

We maintain a relaxed environment, helping you to gain the kind of knowledge, skills and experience that will stick in your mind. We firmly believe that people learn much more when they are having fun during the learning process. We will also train at your company's premises enabling a more relaxed environment.

Our training programs are customised to your companies needs, enabling you and your business to get the exact training you require increasing your productivity.

If you would like to be able to update your own site, or need to have your site updated daily, we offer basic one to one or group training in HTML, Dreamweaver, WS-FTP pro software and database manipulation.

Training is supplied for a maximum of five people at a time in:

• Web site maintenance
• Basic dreamweaver
• Basic html
• Basic FTP
• MySQL database manipulation
• Basic PHP database manipulation (how to select and show specific data from a MySQL database, how to update, insert and delete data from the same database)
• KEI analysis and meta tag manipulation using Microsoft Excel
• Editing articles for search engine optimisation

Software used:

• Macromedia Dreamweaver (or a simple text editor if basic html training is required)
• Paint shop pro (basic image manipulation and optimisation training)
• WS-FTP Pro FTP software
• Microsoft Excel
